Once you have conducted a search via one of the different paths for searching for funding opportunities, you can View summaries of individual opportunity details, Sort results by various views, or narrow down your result set further using Filters. You can choose to further refine your search using the advanced search form.
Viewing Results
Selecting any individual funding opportunity from the result list will display a side card with a summary of most of the key information about the opportunity. This includes an AI summary, the abstract, eligibility requirements, deadline information and more.
Sorting Results
Depending on the type of search you have conducted, the search results will either by sorted by Relevance by default, or, they will be sorted by Award Amount (from highest value to lowest). You can change the view of results using the Sort toggle.
Sort by:
- Relevance
- Title
- Funder name
- Deadline (soonest -> latest)
- Deadline (latest -> soonest)
- Amount (highest -> lowest)
- Amount (lowest -> highest)
- Date opportunity was last published (most recent -> oldest)
Applying Filters
To narrow down your result set further using filters, Click on Filter at the top of the result set; the Filter drop down menu becomes available.
The following filters are available:
- Award Type
- Career Stage
- Top Keywords
- Funder Type
- Country of Funder
- Applicant Type
- Deadline Certainty
- Currency
- Language
- Recently Added
- Submission Type

Select any combination of filters and select "Apply". The results set will automatically update to reflect only opportunities matching the original query + newly added filter parameters.
The remove or update filters, select the Filter menu again and deselect any filter parameters you wish to remove or add additional filters. Select "Apply" to update results.
Refining Searches
To further refine searches, you can select the "pencil" edit icon next to the search query. This will return you to the Advanced Search form with any previous search terms or filters already pre-applied to the advanced search form. Simply update search terms or add or remove filter parameters and select "Search" again to run an updated search without having to re-set all of your search terms or filters.
