It contains records of articles from the highest impact journals worldwide, including open access journals, conference proceedings and books. Researcher Metrics
- Times Cited: The total number of citations within the Web of Science Core Collection to this researcher’s publications.
- H-index: An H-index of H means the researcher has at least H publications with at least H citations each.
- Highly Cited Papers: Publications in the top 1% of citation counts for publications of the same type, publication year and category.
- Publications in the top 10%: Publications in the top 10% of citation counts for publications of the same type, publication year and category.
- Citations from Patents: Number of citations of the researcher’s publications by patents indexed in Derwent Innovations Index™, for publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection.
- International Collaborations - Publications with 2 or more authors from 2 or more distinct organizations, not in the same country.
Organization/Department Metrics
- Hot papers: Papers receiving many citations very soon after publication; the Hot Paper threshold is determined per field and paper age.
- Highly Cited Papers: Publications in the top 1% of citation counts for publications of the same type, publication year and category. Like Publications in Top 1% but using different publication types, time frames and categories.
- Documents in the top 1%: Publications in the top 1% of citation counts for publications of the same type, publication year and category.
- CNCI: The average CNCI (Category Normalized Citation Impact) of the publications; a publication CNCI is its number of citations divided by the expected citation rate for publications of the same type, publication year and category.
- Total number of publications by year: A visual breakdown of publications per year and their citations for this organization/department since 1980. The citation count reflects the total citations of publications published in that year, accumulated over time..
