Note: These features are available only to administrators with the role "Researcher Admin” and / or “Organization Admin". An admin can only edit their own organization’s data.
A user admin can set up users with these roles.
The Researcher Management and Organization Management features enable administrators to set up and manage researchers, departments and publication information for their organization. This is to ensure that data in Clarivate products is accurate and reflects the most recent information. These features are available in the Web of Science Institutional Data Manager which can be accessed by Web of Science Research Intelligence administrators with the appropriate admin roles.
To open the Web of Science Institutional Data Manager, select Admin from the Navigation Menu, and select Web of Science Institutional Data Manager from the menu.
Language support
The application is available in 7 languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and French. The language can be selected in the language menu located at the right of the page header.
Header and Navigation
At the top of the page you’ll find:
- Product Links: To navigate to other Clarivate products.
- Language menu: Allows switching the application’s language
- Username and menu: Displays the currently signed-in user and provides access to account options
Navigation Menu - On the left you'll see the menu where you can navigate to the following sections:
- Researcher Management
- Organization Management
You will only see pages you have permission to access.
By default you will land on the Researcher Management page. If you do not have the Research Management role, you will redirect to the Organization Management page.
