New Features
General
A quick link to various resources is now available; additional resources will be added on an ongoing basis; we recommend referring to this link when you have questions about using the product. You can access the quick link by clicking on the question mark appearing at the bottom right of the screen. The following resources are available:
- Introduction video: brief video providing an overview of the solution
- Training & support: access to product documentation and other learning and assistance resources
- Product updates: monthly release notes
- Suggest a feature: provide feedback directly to the product team. This should not be used to report bugs – those should be submitted in a support ticket.
Note: If you are not seeing the icon, make sure to enable cookies. This can be done via Manage cookie preferences at the bottom of the screen.
Research Intelligence Assistant
- Funding Opportunities Agent – Semantic Search – When searching for funding opportunities, the agent will be able to leverage the new semantic search functionality which allows you to conduct contextual, natural language queries across all funding opportunities and the result sets will contain more funding opportunities that are conceptually relevant to the query.

Grant data
The Expert Finder search results and the Researcher Card now show the total number of grants awarded to the researcher, along with the overall grant amount. Additionally, the Researcher Card includes a list of the researcher’s most recently awarded grants.
Researchers can now be sorted by the number of awarded grants or total grant amount, both in descending order.
A new filter allows you to narrow search results by setting a minimum number of awarded grants.

Emerging Topics

Semantic search threshold slider – Allows you to modify the threshold of the semantic search to view topics that are more closely or less closely related to your search. Lowering the threshold broadens the search results, while raising the threshold narrows the search results. For more information see here.
Coming Soon
Funding Opportunities
- Receiving emails on tracked funding opportunities – You will soon be able to receive email alerts into your own email inbox, letting you know whenever a funding opportunity you are tracking has been updated.
Organizations and Researchers
- Highly Cited Researchers Indication – The Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) tag will soon appear on the Researcher Search results and Card, along with a detailed breakdown by category and the years the recognition was received. Additionally, users will be able to filter the Expert Finder search results using the HCR tag for easier discovery of top researchers.
Reporting
- Custom reporting - You will soon be able to create custom reports by adding charts directly from the Research Intelligence Assistant to a report. This feature will allows you to insert visualizations into a personalized report and combine insights across multiple areas of research assessment.
Emerging Topics
- Topographical map view – Will display all Emerging Topics clustered by Emerging Topic category in a map visualization. It will reflect set filters from the Emerging Topics landing page, and you will be able to interact with it in various ways, such as hovering over points for more details, zoom, export, and more.
