Reporting
We removed the following three Funding (awarded grants) indicators from the Scorecard tab of the Research Performance Summary report:
- External funding
- Grants awarded
- Largest award received
Information on awarded grants will be introduced in future releases under the Impact tab of the report, with additional context and a detailed breakdown by funding source.
There is no effect on other indicators or overall report functionality.
Research Intelligence Assistant
- User Information - The assistants now recognize the organization and country you belong to and will not ask you to enter this information. You can still ask and get responses for any organization and country.
-
Display customized graphs by default - When you customize a graph on a chat, your changes will be shown when you return to the chat.
Organizations and Researchers
Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) - Highly Cited Researchers have published multiple papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and year in Web of Science Core Collection over the past decade, demonstrating significant and broad influence in their field(s).
The HCR tag is now displayed on both the Expert Finder search results and the Researcher Card. On the Researcher Card, you will also find a detailed breakdown by category and the years the recognition was received. For more information see here.
Additionally, you can now filter the search results using the HCR tag, making it easier to discover Highly Cited Researchers. For more information see here.
Coming Soon
Funding Opportunities
Applicant/Institution Location will automatically be applied to all funding searches – Your funding searches will soon automatically only show funding opportunities open to people based in the location of your institution (including opportunities that have no location restrictions). You will be able to turn this filter off, if you would like to see funding opportunities available beyond your country.
Reporting
Custom reporting - You will soon be able to create custom reports by adding charts directly from the Research Intelligence Assistant to a report. This feature will allow you to insert visualizations into a personalized report and combine insights across multiple areas of research assessment.
Emerging Topics
Topographical map view – Will display all Emerging Topics clustered by Emerging Topic category in a map visualization. It will reflect set filters from the Emerging Topics landing page, and you will be able to interact with it in various ways, such as hovering over points for more details, zoom, export, and more.
