Baselines
A new Baselines tab has been added to Settings Panel of the Analysis Workbench to help provide context for your analysis by comparing selected entities against reference benchmarks. Baselines are available in both Chart View and Table View, and can be displayed alongside your selected entities for easy comparison.
Available Baselines:
- Global Baseline: Compare performance against worldwide averages across the global research landscape.
- Baseline (All): Compare selected entities against the average of all entities included in the current dataset and analysis context.
Use baselines to quickly determine whether an organization, researcher, country, or other entity is performing above or below relevant benchmark values.
For more information see here.
Managing Researcher and Organization Data
- Researcher admins can now export and update their affiliated researchers’ publication lists in bulk by uploading a file. Publications can be removed or added. For more information see here.
- A new Merge action has been added to Organization Management, allowing users with the appropriate permissions to merge source departments into a target department. This helps simplify organizational hierarchies and consolidate duplicate or outdated departments. All publications, researchers, and metrics from the source department are consolidated into the target department, and the source department is removed from the hierarchy.
Merged departments cannot be restored once the action is completed. For more information see here.
